Snow on Mt Ossa

Description
At 1617m above sea level, Mt Ossa is Tasmania's highest mountain. I'd always wanted to experience it in snow, but it rarely lasts long after the sporadic and often dangerous Antarctic blasts that bring it. Somehow, after four days of fastpacking from Bass Strait, timing and luck combined one morning and I managed the tough climb off the Overland Track in quite agreeable conditions. Not a moment to be forgotten.
